The hotel was an amazing base for enjoying a nice area. The staff was exceptional and incredible during our whole stay. The location was marvelous, just a 5-minute walk from an art gallery. Everything was simply incredible.

The location was particularly good and pleasant, for example, Xunah Kaab was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel. We had the bungalow which was huge with garden views.

everything was incredible, absolutely perfect location just next door to guatemala or central america for that matter and the surrounding area and the hill above san juan la laguna, exceptionally attentive staff. i asked for dormitory room with a double bed and garden views, as example, had a very nice stay. a shower and towels was a plus.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and authentic, and we were particularly impressed with the flavorful meals. One of the highlights of our stay was the unique sauna experience, which incorporated fresh herbs from the garden. We were also very happy with the comfortable bed in our cabin and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. this place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return. It's truly a gem.

The hotel is exceptionally comfortable and in an unbeatable position in nature. Its location is right next to the outskirts of town, with beautiful hillside views. There are restaurants, hostels, and bars nearby for convenience.

Great staff that was helpful and friendly. Comfortable and spacious bungalow with a cozy bed. Loved the hammocks outside to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Conveniently located near the center and offered privacy at the same time. Large portions of delicious food, especially the homemade bread.

The noise at night was unbearable for a romantic escape. Dogs barking, roosters crowing all night, music from the village, and random fireworks ruined the tranquility.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mayachik! The beautiful surroundings and friendly staff made our experience unforgettable. As vegetarians, we were thrilled to find delicious and generous vegan options in their restaurant. The morning Yoga at the Yoga platform was rejuvenating, and the sauna was an incredible addition to our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and the internet was decent for digital nomads like us. Mayachik provided a beautiful nature retreat with sustainable living practices.

As party people, we loved the isolated location, spacious and comfortable house, and the delicious food at the vegetarian restaurant. The eco-friendly practices, such as recycling and compost toilets, were impressive. The staff was helpful in arranging shuttles and had great connections for activities like Spanish lessons and fishing trips.
